Aurukitar's belief in mortal freedom and Lamythia's increasing demand for order divide dragons, families, nations, and eventually the Twin Sovereigns themselves.
The Great Unraveling c. 50 BGU–0 AGU
Open war tears across Mythitar, ending with the fall of the Thirteen Scales of Sovereignty, the withdrawal of the Twin Sovereigns, and the collapse of the Dragon Age.
The Scattered Centuries 1–c. 500 AGU
The Unraveling ends, but dragon wars continue for centuries as shattered Flights fight on while refugees resettle and new powers rise among the ruins.
The Decline of the Flights c. 400–800 AGU
Continued warfare and dwindling dragon populations make large Flights increasingly impossible until dragon civilization finally disappears as a functioning political order.
